Imagine you had a completely clear calendar - what does your perfect weekend in Fargo look like?
A perfect weekend in Fargo includes great food, entertainment, time spent outdoors, exploration, and community. I would kick off a Saturday morning with coffee and breakfast at Bernbaums (they offer a menu that boasts a unique blend of Scandinavian and Jewish cuisine) and then (if it’s summer) visit the Red River Market in Broadway Square. In the afternoon, I would explore the many local boutiques along Broadway. For an afternoon treat, I would cross the river into Moorhead to get a blizzard at the Historic Moorhead Dairy Queen. Depending on the weather (because in North Dakota, that’s always something that must be considered), I would either take a long walk in Island Park, visit the Plains Art Museum or explore Brewhalla, before getting a second kick of caffeine by ordering a tea either from Teaberry or Nichole’s Fine Pastries. The evening would ideally end with dinner and a show, perhaps at 701 Eateries and the Fargo Theater!
